Modern Scrappy Bits Swap

After doing a little stalking of my Modern Scrappy Bits partner, I think I've put together a package for her! She's been very quiet on the Flickr boards and we don't have to send out until Sept 1 so I may still change this.

The requirements were for a small item (pincushion, needlebook, or pouch). And I noticed my partner likes Katie Jump Rope and I just so happen to have scraps of that so I made her this pouch from this tutorial put together by Ellison Lane Quilts.

It opens up to this on the back:
 And the inside:

Then we are supposed to include at least a fat quarter's worth of scraps. My first pulling has given me this little pile....

So hopefully this will be the final package but for now it's all been put aside until either I get some feedback or until Sept 1st!

My partner in that swap hasn't made a peep either. I haven't posted anything, mind you, but I've been keeping an eye on the other photos and she's not commented anywhere. It'd be nice to have SOME idea of what she likes (other than what she said in her entry form, which wasn't a lot).

I almost feel sorry for whoever has me. I'm so wishy-washy and like a little bit of everything, and I'm not sure I gave her any information that would be useful in pinning down what to make for me. I've been trying to leave a lot of comments on pictures though, so hopefully that'll help!

I really really like your scraps! And I think the needle book is wonderful. I usually end up sticking my needles in the couch, or in the quilt, or losing them....not great.

This is so great, and I must admit to being one of the swappers who hasn't commented on the Flickr site!! Guess I really should do that!

That is the most nerve-wracking feeling! I think your needlebook is lovely, for what it's worth!
