Another Wednesday already!! Here's what's getting worked on in my sewing room.
Finished this week:
Kitchen Curtains
Aviary Birdbath top - is now at the quilter!
The final burp cloths for myself (I have quite a pile now!)
In progress:
Finished all my arcs for the double wedding ring quilt. Now I need to get the templates going for all the center portions.
Made myself a custom jelly roll for my baby boy quilt. It really made me appreciate how much time actual jelly rolls save! It took me quite a long time to cut all these strips. But, I didn't want any coral in this quilt so it had to be custom. I decided to keep the yellow in then and I'm glad I did. It adds some extra pop that is definitely needed.
And I cut all the pieces and started construction on my Everything Bag. aka - the Amy Butler Diaper bag. I'm always amazed at how many pieces go into one of her bags. This one had 46 pieces!
I also made progress on my hexagons but don't have a photo. I finished all the hexagons and need to get started on the apron portion.
Total WIPs: down to 4!
As usual - check out the linky party over at Freshly Pieced and add your WIP's to the list!

Holy cow, 46 pieces????? Wow. Those patterns are so fierce! I love the fabrics you're using, that's going to be a gorgeous bag! I like your choices for your "jelly roll" quilt, definitely worth doing it the custom way. Can't wait to see you to get it all put together!
Love the burp cloths...did you dye them? I just bought some to make up for a couple friends having babies soon...love the bright colors of yours!
Awesome burp cloths!!! wow! I can't wait to see your jelly roll quilt! The colors are awesome!!
46 pieces?! Yikes! I'm hoping that includes the interfacing.
Your burp cloths are adorable! And I love the fabrics you're using for your baby boy quilt.
I love what you have so far on your wedding ring quilt - lovely. AND I made that Everything bag for my daughter! It is nice but somewhat challenging towards the end. Good luck!
Love the burp cloths. They are definitely on my to do list. Great fabric choices.
I have always wanted to make a double wedding ring quilt. I love your baby boy quilt fabric.
Love all your projects! You've been busy!!! wonderful work
Tons of fun projects going on here! You go girl! btw...what is the name of the mask you may have used to create the images at the top of your blog (in the header)? I love it!!
You're busy! I love the fabric you used for the burp cloths. If I'd had any that cute, I might've actually used them. :-)
Where in the world did you get those colored burp cloths? They are fabulous! I bought some of that paper folding hat fabric for burp cloths also! That baby boy quilt is going to be fabulous!
You are doing "THE BAG"! Awesome! I can't wait to see it. :)
You baby quilt fabrics are great.
I am really annoyed that I can't find those colored burp cloths here. My Michaels in TX had them. But, not the one here. Babies R Us has some but they seem very cheap. Did you use Gerber?
Okay. so is the "everything" bag easier or harder than the Weekender??
WTG on getting that list down, love the colours for your boy jelly roll quilt too
The burb cloths are so cute! Are you going to be able to bring Birdbath to a guild meeting so I can see the quilting??? Good for you making your own Jelly Roll- great idea!
everything looks adorable....but I love the colours of you wedding ring arcs...beautiful
Wow, so awesome! I love your jelly roll quilt.
I love the fabric you chose for your boy quilt. I loved the Tula Pink Prince charming fabrics. I have the aqua and pink range myself. Will be interested to see what you do with them.
You have been a busy bee! I love those jelly roll strip you cut. So pretty!
Wow! 46 pieces that bag is going to keep you busy. I can't wait to see it finished.
Very cute burp cloths! Those strips are going to make a great quilt!
Those fabric strips for your baby boy quilt are just beautiful, can't wait to see what you do with them! Love those burp clothes, how adorable!
I love your burp clothes, I am a very envious mom! LOL The best I came up with when preparing for my boys was decorative stitching on gerber diaper material. And my girl... well she just gets to use all the boy burp cloths! I also love your custom jelly roll, I can't wait to see what you create with that!
46 pieces. i totally understand. i just finished her high street messenger bag. maybe it is just me but sometimes i think her patterns are a little difficult to understand. maybe it is that i am more of a throw it together person but sheesh, i had a hard time with some of the directions. do you agree or is it just me? love that baby quilt. so cute.
Whoa. 46 pieces is um, redundant. It's crazy. I bet it will be a fabulous bag, though! So, I guess you found your missing DWR arcs, then? ;)
Your jelly roll quilt will be adorable!
